5-star books to give for Christmas
Books are always my favorite gift to receive, and many book bloggers and writers are encouraging people to give books for Christmas. It made me think, however, that some people may need ideas for books to give for the people on their holiday gift-giving list. I’m here to help!
Here are the books that I gave my highest rating - 5 stars - this year.
For the lover of women’s literature:
Broken for You - Stephanie Kallos
Belong to Me - Marisa de los Santos
For the lover of poetry:
Songs of Innocence and Experience - William Blake (the Oxford Press edition has prints from the original plates Blake did for each poem - gorgeous!)
The Ordering of Love: The New and Collected Poems of Madeleine L’Engle
For the lover of fantasy:
Neverwhere - Neil Gaiman
Anansi Boys - Neil Gaiman
