My week in television - October 3, 2008
Heroes: Still not loving it this season. It seems really scattered - all over the place. I think they need to focus in on just one or two characters per episode, instead of trying to cram so many plotlines into an hour.
Life: I’ve loved Damian Lewis ever since Band of Brothers, and I love this show. I’m worried that it might be in danger of cancellation, since NBC has stuck it at 10 pm on Fridays. If you like detective shows - the quirkier, the better - then you should definitely check it out. The season premiere showed on Monday after Heroes, but you can see another episode in its regular time tonight at 10.
House: This season has been good so far; I really like the addition to the cast of the private eye. The preview for the next episode said, “in two weeks,” so I imagine it’s not on next week. Presidential debate, maybe? Anyway, it looks like House and Wilson go on a road trip during the next episode. Should be interesting.
Fringe: I am really excited that this just got picked up for an entire season. The episode this week ended with a cool “what the heck?” moment.
Bones: I love the interplay among Bones, Booth, and Sweets. Not crazy about the whole Angela/Hodgins thing, though. Either get back together or get past it, people. The whining gets old.

My favorite show right now is Criminal Minds!
Ladytink - I’ve never watched that - is that the one with Mandy Patinkin?
