Books and Movies

EW has an interesting post up about TV, movie, and book endings that people hate and would like to change. It got me thinking about the endings I’ve really not liked. There will be major spoilers ahead, so please consider yourself warned.

~ Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End: Will Turner is now Davy Jones - and they only get one day together every ten years? What the heck were they thinking?

~ Bones - this season’s finale: Sweets should have been Gormogon. I do like his character, but it would have made much more sense. Or at least give the Zack as Gormogon storyline it’s due and time to work itself out - not spring it on us all in one episode just because you want to wrap things up before next season.

~ Bee Season: I don’t even know what I would have made different. Just something - anything - that would keep the characters from staying the same miserable people they were.

~ I Am Legend: Now, my sister tells me the movie is nothing like the story it’s based on, so if you loved the story, you probably hated the movie. But I wish he didn’t have to die - after everything he had been through, he deserved to see his vaccine work and make the world safe again.

Those are the only ones I can think of right now. What are your least favorite endings - and how would you change them?
